Full Itinerary - San Francisco, Hawaii ( Oahu)  & Los Angeles

 

Days 1 to 4 San Francisco

Check in at London Heathrow airport for your mid morning flight to San Francisco. British Airways, United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic all operate direct services, We have competitive rates in economy, premium economy and business class.  The flight takes twelve hours, allowing for the time difference (8 hours behind) you will arrive in San Francisco mid afternoon.

Over the next three days San Francisco will easily keep you entertained. Spend a morning enjoying a city tour, taking in all the famous areas of San Francisco and the afternoon visiting Alcatraz perhaps followed by dinner at The Waterfront restaurant with fabulous views of the Golden Gate bridge. On day 2, fully rested, hire bikes and cycle over the Golden gate Bridge to Sausalito for lunch and catch the ferry back back across San Francisco bay. On day 3 take wine tasting trip up to Napa Valley, its an excellent way to see the countryside and get a flavour for the California wine, or enjoy  or  visit Lombard street (the crookedest street in the world)  ride on a trolley car, do a little shopping in Union Square or visit  on of the numerous museums, we'd recommend the California Academy of Sciences and don't miss the infamous Cheesecake Factory on the top floor of Macy's

Days 5 to 11  Hawaii ( Oahu)

A  4 1/2 hour flight south west and you'll arrive into Honolulu, the capital of the Hawaiian Islands located on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu.  

Spend the next 7 nights of your multi centre holiday enjoying the diversity of Hawaii blending the modern and vibrant side of Hawaii with the lovely beaches and stunning mountains.   Most guests choose to stay on Waikiki Beach amongst the bars, restaurants and evening entertainment on offer, however, if you prefer something a little quieter opt for the Marina area and The Modern hotel or at  Diamond Head at The Kahala,  all in close proximity giving you the opportunity to take in all the sights that Oahu has to offer. Hawaii is a fabulous location and one we highly recommend

Days 12 - 14 Los Angeles   

Time to leave the city that never sleeps to head on to Los Angeles.   LA is a vast city that offers the visitor plenty of options on where to stay. Enjoy a few days of rest and relaxation on a beautiful California beach such as Santa Monica, Long Beach or Huntington Beach  or get out and about and see LA.  From Honolulu the flight to Los Angeles will take five hours, allowing for the time difference ( 2 hrs ahead) you'll arrive into LA later afternoon.  On day 1 spend the morning in Hollywood and take a walk up Hollywood Boulevard looking for your favorites stars name, enjoy lunch in the Hollywood and Highland shopping centre and spend the afternoon in Beverly Hills. On day 2  head out to the Paul Getty Museum, a stunning collection or art designed to inspire set in beautiful grounds with a rather good cafe / bistro for lunch    & Universal Studios or opt to stay in West Hollywood for nightlife .

Day 15  

Fly home from Los Angeles to Heathrow, all flights are over night and land the following morning.

  • Change the number of nights:  We have suggested a suitable number of nights in each location but we can alter the duration to suit your personal requirements.
  • Dictate the style & standard of hotel:  We will suggest 4* hotels throughout, all in good locations, the standard can be altered if you prefer a more luxurious hotel or more modest accommodation.
  • We have chosen to fly you between locations but if you'd prefer to hire a car then this can be arranged, we offer a full range of models from 2 door compacts to a Mustang Convertible 
  •  We will use our knowledge of America to advise on places you should stop and see recommending bars and restaurants you should visit and ensure you have everything you require for a perfect holiday.
